We are an online-only furniture retailer, founded out of frustration with how expensive solid wood furniture has become. Our mission is simple: to make high-quality, real wood furniture accessible to everyone, without breaking the bank!
We believe you shouldn't have to spend hundreds or even thousands of pounds to own solid wood pieces, nor should you waste your hard-earned money on cheap MDF or chipboard furniture that doesn’t even last a lunar cycle.
That’s why we created Aura Alcove Design, a place where you can buy authentic, solid wood furniture for less, and invest in timeless pieces built to last for decades, not just seasons.

We were founded out of frustration with how overpriced real wood furniture has become. At the same time, we saw how fast cheap MDF and chipboard furniture ends up in landfills - often falling apart within a year, sometimes even before the holiday season.
We believe you shouldn't have to choose between quality and affordability. Everyone deserves furniture that feels solid, looks timeless, and lasts for decades - not just a few months. That’s why we created Aura Alcove Design, a space where honest materials, thoughtful craftsmanship, and fair pricing come together.

Every piece in our collection is either handmade to order or carefully sourced from suppliers who share our values. By focusing on solid wood, responsible sourcing, and made-to-order production, we reduce waste, avoid mass manufacturing, and build furniture that respects both your home and the planet.
Aura Alcove is more than a furniture brand. It’s our way of contributing to a world where quality comes before quantity, where design has soul, and where the things we bring into our homes are made to last, with intention and authenticity.
Our Commitment

We believe that creating beautiful, long-lasting furniture should never come at the expense of the Earth. That’s why we work with solid wood from responsible sources and avoid wasteful mass production through our made-to-order model. But we know that's only part of the solution.
To go further, we have partnered with Just One Tree, a non-profit organisation focused on global reforestation. We contribute to planting trees in areas affected by deforestation - helping to restore ecosystems, absorb carbon, and support biodiversity.
This is our way of honouring Mother Earth, giving back more than we take, and ensuring that every piece of furniture we create supports a healthier, greener future for generations to come.
