Mahogany is a highly prized hardwood known for its rich reddish-brown colour, fine grain, and exceptional durability, making it a favourite for high-quality furniture. It originates from trees in the Swietenia genus, primarily found in tropical regions of Central and South America, as well as parts of Africa and Asia.
Renowned for its strength and resistance to warping, shrinking, and swelling, mahogany ensures furniture remains sturdy and long-lasting. Its smooth texture and consistent density make it easy to work with, resulting in polished, elegant finishes that age beautifully over time.
Sustainable Sourcing Only.
We only source the best wood from our suppliers. Our suppliers strictly adhere to The European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR), which prohibits the sale of illegally harvested timber in the EU/UK market.
Furthermore we source from suppliers who can demonstrate that their products originate from sustainably managed forests. Suppliers can prove this by complying with forest management certification schemes such as the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Our long-term goal is to either source recycled wood or exclusively source from forests verified as responsibly managed. We believe that doing business in a responsible manner is the only sustainable way forward.
